This week we’ve been on holiday to visit family in the North of England, and the weather has been HOT. These are two conditions that would put any face cream to the test – early starts and long days visiting family, and a lot of sweat involved in lugging baby and baby ‘stuff’ about in the heat! So I was keen to see how FaceD 3-LURONICS would hold up under pressure.

I have to admit I’ve been quite impressed! Every morning I’ve been a little bit excited to put it on as I remember how nice my skin will look when I’ve done my make-up. My skin tends to be a bit oily, particularly around the forehead and nose, and I’ve noticed that this week the shine hasn’t been appearing after a couple of hours – and that’s in very warm weather. It also seems to have a light-reflecting effect under make-up – my skins seems to look more even in tone and, having a good feel now, I’d say it’s definitely a bit softer.

I suppose summing up the effect so far, I’d say my skin seems ‘younger’ – I’ve had a few compliments on how well I’m looking from relatives that haven’t seen me in a couple of months, and, considering my baby has recently decided that as soon as it’s light in the mornings (so any time from 5am onwards), it’s time to play, I’m sure this product is helping me to at least look refreshed in the mornings!

I’m still less sure of the long term effects. So this coming week, which is much quieter, I’m going to have a few make-up free days and really scrutinise what goes on with my skin as the days go on… and I’ll report back next week.
