We recently invited TV presenter and Strictly Come Dancing star, Alison Hammond to our Betterlife store in Castle Vale to trial and test our range of innovative independent living products.

Taking to the task seriously, Alison took our wheelchairs for a spin, zoomed around our mixed terrain scooter track on our mobility scooters and tested our SAD Light Mini, GPS Personal Tracker, and Personal Care Alarm.

And we caught it all on camera for you to see!

Alison Hammond Tests: Personal Care Alarm

Whilst testing the different ways that you can wear the Personal Care Alarm, Alison presses for assistance, resulting in a quick response from BT Health’s call centre to check that she’s okay.

Alison Hammond Tests: SAD Lamp Mini

Watch Alison sit back to relax with a cheeky cocktail next to our SAD Lamp Mini which she describes as “great for those who suffer from the dark days with a condition known as Seasonal Affective Disorder.”

Alison Hammond Tests: Envoy 8+ Scooter

The Envoy 8+ Mobility Scooter is “perfect for someone who wants that little bit more power” Says Alison, “simply turn the key, lift the leaver and away you go!”
