This week has been very, very hot, and with a not-so-small baby, that involves a lot of sweat and a potentially shiny face! But, I’m pleased to report that my skin is continuing to surprise me with how fresh it is looking up even after a few hours of hard picnicking, swimming or general baby-care. This morning I even did ‘Buggy Fit’, an exercise class for mums in a local park. It was hard work and the sun was beating down; but I was amazed that afterwards my face didn’t look like I’d done any exercise at all!

I’m definitely still enjoying using the product – and I’m still on the first little tube, which is amazing! I’m still not sure I like the feeling of it initially as it forms a barrier on the skin and doesn’t sink right in, but then that reminds me that that is the whole point of this product; it’s not just a moisturiser that softens the skin for a short while, it actually helps me to look better for the rest of the day. I’ve even found that I’m wearing less make up than I used to, because I feel more confident in my skin – and that has got to be a good thing.

I’ve spent quite a bit of time this week examining the emerging wrinkle under my eye to see if FaceD 3-LURONICS has either an instant effect, or indeed is helping to banish it long term. I’m not sure if it’s my imagination because I’m staring at it so much, but it definitely seems to fade a little as soon as I’ve applied the product. It’s almost as if I’ve given myself a little face lift – which is always good when your day has started at 5.30, again! But the line is still there every morning – who knows, maybe by the time this trial is up, it will have faded out of sight…

FaceD is available from Lloydspharmacy now for £24.99 – www.lloydspharmacy.com
